Some "engaging" news

News Alert! You heard it here first-Keith and I are engaged! Keith proposed to me on Nov. 4th at Descanso Gardens in La Canada, CA. After making month long arrangements with the caterer at the Japanese Gardens, I was pleasently surprised (well, I must admit I had my suspicions- a generally flexible easy going Keith was rigid and nervous the entire day)when I found a ring sitting on my desert plate. Needless to say, I said "yes" followed by a pause and asked nervously "did you ask my parents?" Let's just say the old-fashioned boy did the entire engagement process the way I would have liked him to. He's good like that. :-)

We're Engaged!

Even I can't be quiet when they ask me to...

Back from Europe

Yes, its been a while since my last post- this may possibly be a record length of time I've blogged! Keith, his mom, and I returned late September from a delightful vacation I will never forget. I've always dreamed of traveling through Europe and couldn't believe I was seeing things that I've only read in history books. It gave me a greater appreciation for art, history, God, beauty, architecture, and life. It also gave me the opportunity to tantalize my taste buds with the best tasting and best looking gelato ever! It is definelty worth a cross country flight to Italy again!

Gelato, anyone?

Remembering Boba (again)

September 12th marks Boba's 2nd year anniversary of his passing. He was a very sweet parakeet. Mama loved her little baby.

Reuinited... and it feels so good

Went to a wedding last night for one of my oldest and dearest friends. Hue and I have been friends for over 23 years. We used to walk home together in 7th grade with our LA Gear high-tops and our Aqua Net hair styles. It was fun to reconnect with another old friend, Annie... it was just like old times!

Just like old times!

The party doesn't stop!

David goofing around

A long awaited update!

Ok, so 7 months IS a long time without a blog post. I didn't realize how long its been since I've blogged until my brother-in-law mentioned it to me last week. Since my last post, I've switched jobs, got a new computer (which aided my current addiction to itunes), had a week-long birthday celebration, met Kenny Chesney (well, more like saw him perform in front of 30,000 other die-hard country fans), welcomed Ryan to the world, became a servant to Princess Jaelin, introduced Mango to her first bath, did a brief stint on the Oscar-de-la Renta fashion runway and laughed so hard at David's funny antics that I could not laugh anymore.

Holiday Treats

They say, holidays are all about the kids. Well, this one was extra special because I got to shower my favorite little ones with things that brought them joy. David got a brand new tricycle, Jaelin got a little tigger doll, and Elizabeth just loved being dressed as Cinderella. Ah, the joy of being a kid!

The wheels on the bike go round and round...

"BFF"

When was the last time you heard "BFF"? (Best Friends Forever!) For me, it was high school. Last weekend, I went to my BFF's bridal shower. How nice it was to connect with old friends- and see them get married! Those that were there said that we look just like we did 10 years ago. I just hope to hear that in another 10 years.

Snow Plowing

Who says it never snows in LA? Well, we had to travel about 2 hours to find 4 feet of snow in LA- at the San Bernadino Mountains. We went up for Keith's camp reunion, although the only ones that showed up were in these photos. yup, quite the turnout.
