Spoiled Rotton

A scratch here and there. Especially behind the ears.

Tea Invasion

What a nice treat to spend the afternoon with several special ladies. A rejuvenating feeling of joy and connectiveness...either that or a surge of sugar cubes in my tea cup.

Let's get it started in HERE

Don't ask what moves we're doin' here. If I recall, we did the moon-walk, roger rabbit, the sprinkler, shopping cart, the helicopter, etc. moves to gangster rap. All this and more without an ounce of alcohol. Maybe it was the caffeine. We did have a latte before we ripped the dance floor...

You just HAD to be there.

Sharing my backyard

I came at arm's length from petting a squirrel today. The little kid appeared to be hungry for bird seed. I knew a extra supply of bird seed would come in handy!

Honoring Boba

A year ago tomorrow, Boba's life slipped through my fingers. In remembrance, I've created a memorial page with PETA (People for Ethical Treatment of Animals)and made a donation in his name. (the site will be up in a few days) For more information on his life, click here.

Day at the Long Beach Aquarium

Cutie-Patotie

yes, I know they're cute. Spent the day at the Long Beach Aquarium getting in touch with the "underwater" world. Not. David wasn't the least eager to touch the Sting Ray, he was more excited about jumping IN to the wading pool.
My cousin, Elizabeth meet Mango for the first time- they even played a game where she was the Princess and Mango was the Fairy Godmother. Mango played the role very well without her magic wand.

Toy Story

Looks like the two little kiddies are happy with their new toys. Mango got a new jungle gym over the weekend along with a new homemade toy. She seems to like climbing to the top of the gym and realizing that its not that much of a hike. David finally got his own beach chair and something to rest his head on!

Boy o' BOY(S)!

I got to spend a nice afternoon with David. He only posed for a minute for the camera, then decided to walk through the restaurant, bang on the windows, drop utensils on the floor, chew on the table cloth, spill milk all over his high chair, slurp wonton noodles, scream, laugh, smile and cry- all in an hour.

A quick smile for the camera
The more time I spend with little Mango, the more I think SHE may be a HE. He screams and chirps way to much to be a little girl. In the bird world, male birds talk more than females. For once, males have more to say than females. I wonder what God was thinking when he commanded that.

The Happiest Place on Earth

Nope, I'm not talking about MJ's Neverland Ranch. My collegue and I were invited to Disneyland "Media Day"- a private party to promote Disneyland's 50th Anniversary. We covered the entire park in about 2 hours. We even had time to play dress up at the Sleeping Beauty Castle.

A Dedicated Baby

Today, is my nephew's baby dedication-this marks his exciting journey and adventures with Jesus. What a happy kid. And a well fed one too. I think the little one ate more than me at lunch. I take that back, I don't think anyone can one up me on that.
After lunch, we strolled down the block to Chinatown. My dad found a straw hat for $1.50-I love a bargain!

Three Day Feeding Frenzy

I fully recovered from celebrating my birthday with a 72 hour feeding freenzy. God bless friendships that celebrate milestones with all-you-can drink wine and a tiramisu birthday cake.

A very distressed little lady

"EECK! WHAT IS THIS?"

Another year, Another birthday!

Well, its almost April 26th, which would make me 27 years old- Yes, folks I'm actually catagorized in the LATE TWENTIES. For those older than 27, you say "27 is soo young!"...For those who are younger than 27, "OMG- that seems soo far away!"- well kid you not, the years go by faster the older you get. My friend, Chris Wong said "27 is a good year"- I'll take your word for it, Chris!
I went over to visit my good friend Judy and her little lady yesterday- and I was able to witness her first taste of solid food. Choice of taste: Mashed Carrots. Obviously, its not her choice.

I'm a pretty bird! Posted by Hello

Spring is Here

What an exciting weekend, I picked up my new roommate on Friday night-a sweet baby cockatiel-who's about 5 weeks old. She (or he?) is really sweet and quiet (I haven't heard a chirp-yet) and sleeps ALOT. Seems like she (or he) is going to be the low maintenance and I'm the demanding controlling, gimme all your attention-needing one. So, who owns who?
Also, today is my nephew's birthday- he's one year old. Check out my new baby cousin-Gracie Yee. She's shy of 7 months. Just look at that face!
Don't you just want to squeeze those cheeks?
